LivinLuce, the International exhibition dedicated to BUILDING technology (electrical installation materials, safety, home and building automation) and LIGHTING technology (components, equipment, light sources and solutions) is returning to its historical month of May.

Since the 2007 edition, LivinLuce has been carrying on the traditions of the INTEL brand within the marketplace in conjunction with EnerMotive 2009, the exhibition dedicated to Power and Factory Solutions.

LivinLuce 2009 distinguishes itself for further strengthening its technical ability, which is an attribute that always sets it apart from other exhibitions, aiming, on the one hand, to further develop the Building sector and, on the other, to restructure the Lighting sector, whereby, in particular, themes, products and solutions for users of technical lighting, will be considered and enhanced.

The alliance between BUILDING technology and LIGHTING technology reaffirms the role of the exhibition as the benchmark rendezvous at national level as well as one of the leaders at European level, across the entire supply chain, creating strong synergies – within the area of demand - in favour of representatives from organisations concerned with regulations, design, distribution, installation as well as end users. LivinLuce 2009 will be endorsed by the principal sector associations which have been collaborating with Fiera Milano Tech on the development and promotion of the exhibition.

THE FOCAL TOPICS OF THE 2009 EDITION
In line with the concept highlighted above and also taking into consideration the suggestions from exhibitors, companies and sector associations, the themed topics for the 2009 edition are, in detail, as listed below:

- a focus on the eco-compatibility and safety aspects associated with electrical installations
- the enhancement of domotics (Homevolution) from its multidisciplinary perspective, with an emphasis on the benefits which may be derived in terms of energy efficiency and social impact
- the efficient use of energy incorporated into lighting design, mainly within an urban context and in relation to land regeneration
- technological innovation in technical lighting design, aimed towards the applications

The themed topics highlighted above will be widely discussed and expanded on at seminar level, via a series of appropriate and specialist events involving representatives drawn from Institutions, Associations, Universities and the World of Research, as well as recognised Technical-scientific Bodies.

TARGETING THE VISITORS
In order to attracts an ever increasing number of electrical fitters and planners, LivinLuce will further consolidate its “technical vocation”, also with the support from wholesalers and distributors of electrical materials.

These needs will be met with substance in the URBAN SOLUTIONS themed section, which is to be created within the exhibition area, and is dedicated to Local Public Administration Bodies, Utility and Multi-utility companies, Design, Architecture & Urban Planning Firms, Universities & Research Centres as well as the main energy producers.
